Good morning!
Here is the news from 12 October: what opened in New Tashkent, why somebody took against window grilles, and the proposed changes to greenhouse heating
We have a few ideas for your evening too. And, of course, a Tazik at the end :)

Tuesday will be warmer
After a Monday with rain in places, Tashkent will stay dry. According to Uzhydromet’s forecast, daytime temperatures on 13–16 October will reach +22…+25°C, with +12…+15°C at night. Easterly winds: 3–8 m/s

New homes and a school open in New Tashkent
Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited New Tashkent on 12 October. Seven facilities opened, including the first phase of the Sharq Bahori housing complex, a school for 2,000 pupils, a park and energy infrastructure
The first housing phase contains around 7,000 apartments. Work also began on ten new projects, including a hospital, a technology park and transport links to Tashkent
Removal of window grilles halted
Workers began removing window grilles in a mahalla in Mirzo Ulugbek district. The work was halted after residents complained
Tashkent’s city administration said it was establishing who made the decision and examining the actions for possible abuse of authority and unlawful unilateral action
The findings have yet to be announced

Greenhouses may need different heating
Following complaints about smells and air pollution, including in Yunusabad, environmental officials reported inspections and sampling. On cold, still nights, pollution can linger close to the ground
Officials are discussing cleaner heating and emissions controls for greenhouses. Where other energy sources are unavailable, the proposal is to allow coal only with certified equipment and pollution treatment
The filter prototype failed to meet standards in tests on 30 September and 8 October. It must be improved and tested again. Greenhouses without environmentally safe heating remain banned from operating in the capital region

Yandex Go recovers after an outage
Overnight into 12 October, the head of Yandex Uzbekistan commented on Sunday’s outage. The company reported a gradual restoration of services; some functions could still experience errors
Payments, partner payouts and support were the company’s first priorities
